Note 01 / 06
ScrollNote 02 — Who we are
A Southport company that builds to stay.
Mossy Rock Properties develops, owns and cares for residential property in Brunswick County. We are small on purpose. We choose a few pieces of ground, do them properly and hold them for the long run, because we live with what we build.
Incorporated in North Carolina in 2020, we work from Southport, close to every site we touch.
Note 03 — What we do
Three kinds of work, one long view.
-
01
Residential development.
We take a parcel from survey to finished homes: planning, permits, builders and the details in between. Each project is sized to its street and its neighbours.

02
Rental homes.
We keep the homes we build and the buildings we buy, and we manage them like an owner who will still be here in twenty years. Repairs get done and calls get returned.

Note 04 — How we think
Slow ground.
Good houses.
Long hands.
How working with us goes.
We talk.
A call or a note. You tell us about the land, the home you need or the project you have in mind.
We walk it.
We visit the site in person, look at the ground, the access, the water and the neighbours.
We make a plain plan.
Timeline, numbers and responsibilities written down in language anyone can read.
We stay.
We follow through to the last punch-list item, and on the homes we hold, long after that.
“Close to the water, close to the work.”
What you can expect from us.
Straight answers
If a project isn't right for us, we'll tell you quickly and say why.
Local hands
We're based in Southport and on site ourselves, not managing from a distance.
Care after closing
The homes we keep get maintained like our own, because they are.
